Joseph Stalin

the leader of the Soviet Union from 1922 until his death in 1953; officially, General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union's Central Committee; became the de facto party leader and the dictator; a position which enabled him to take full control of the Soviet Union and its people; (December 18, 1878 – March 5, 1953).
