Robert Peel

Sir Robert Peel, 2nd Baronet was British Prime Minister from December 1834 to April 1835, and again from September 1841 to July 1846. He was born in Bury in Lancashire to an industrialist and Member of Parliament (Sir Robert Peel, 1st Baronet), who was one of the richest textile manufacturers of the early Industrial Revolution, and educated first at Hipperholme Grammar School, then at Harrow School and finally Christ Church, Oxford; (5 February 1788 – 2 July 1850).
