Nomar Garciaparra

Anthony Nomar Garciaparra is an American baseball player. He most recently played shortstop for the Chicago Cubs, after being traded from the Boston Red Sox at the 2004 trading deadline, and, as of December 18th, 2005, signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers for a reported one-year contract with a base salary of $6 million, which could earn him up to $8 million in incentives, to play first base for the Dodgers; (born July 23, 1973, in Whittier, California).
