Murray Rose

Iain Murray Rose was born on January 6, 1939 in Nairn, Scotland, but he moved to Australia with his family at an early age during those times after World War II when everyone wanted to start a new life there. He took up swimming as a boy and was an Olympic Games champion at age 17.
